Welcome aboard the USS Callisto!
The USS Callisto is a Luna class Starship assigned to deep space exploration missions deep inside the vast and mysterious Gamma Quadrant. We are part of Bravofleet's Task Force 9 which is assigned to defend Federation colonies in the Gamma Quadrant and to explore uncharted space.
The USS Callisto is a Forum based Roll Playing Simulation game set in the world of Star Trek, created by Gene Roddenberry. Events aboard the USS Callisto take place in the year 2387, approximately 9 years after the events that took place in Star Trek: Nemesis. The simulation has an age restriction of 16+.
The Callisto is crewed by one of the most talented crew of writers and simmers, ranging from intelligent joined Trill to overly attractive but emotionally volatile Betazoids. Have a look around the simm and ship and be sure to visit our forums to read our writings. Hopefully we will be able to welcome you aboard as one of us.

With pleasure I announce the return of a friend to the USS Callisto. Patrick has (re)joined us with his character Lieutenant Tatjana Lismore. She will be assigned to the Callisto as the Chief Diplomat. Welcome aboard and happy simming.

Several days ago, the Callisto forums have received some overhauls. Firstly the phpbb3 version has been updated to the latet (3.0.10). The forums have received a customized look and additionally some of the more infrequently used boards have been renamed or removed.
I am proud to announce that the USS Callisto also had a facebook page where the outside world has another tool to read up on what we are doing. The link to the facebook page can be reached via the splash page, a link has been added to the main menu of the site. With any luck the forum will be receiving a link to the facebook page as well.

Well our new mission is now under way.
Following Wyliu's - our resident Chozo expert - latest research, the Callisto sets course to a distant M class planet deeper inside the Gamma quadrant. Down on the surface, the Callisto crew encounters the remains of a Chozo shrine. With any luck its crypts still contain shards that could be taken back to the Library. After investigating the shrine and its subterranean passages, the crew comes to a shocking discovery on the planet surface. It seems that there are some life forms present which the Callisto crew did not detect before.
Why not come and join us and assist us in uncovering this mystery!

With pleasure I announce that Colonel Jones has decided to move from the position of adjutant to the more permanent position of Marine Detachment Commander. With this move, Colonel Jones is a full member of the USS Callisto crew once more. Though higher in rank that Commander Huxley, Colonel Jones falls in a position below our second officer. I will explain this discrepancy in rank and position in character in the next mission.

Currently we are looking for characters that are willing to join the crew in the following senior staff positions:
- Chief Flight Control Officer
- Marine Detachment Commander
